Learn these three skills to thrive as a wildlife cinematographer

Being able to shoot cinematic imagery of animals that delight an audience is a cornerstone of the profession.

But it won't guarantee you a successful career

Here are three additional skills that you should master:
  • Field Craft: The ability to find animals in the wild and anticipate their behaviour, as well as just being ace at looking after yourself in the wild
  • People Management: The ability to manage relationships with your colleagues and the local teams that provide support on location.
  • Solopreneurship: As a freelancer, you are a one-person business. Developing your business skills lays the foundation for financial success.

By developing these three competencies you will build stronger long-term relationships and win more work.

If these are skillsets you would like more help learning about, DM me in the comments below and I will work on finding a solution for you.
